Welcome to Cavendish Community Primary School PTA (Cavendish PTA), the fundraising PTA for Cavendish Community Primary School, West Didsbury, Manchester.
Cavendish PTA is run on a voluntary basis by parents/guardians/carers of children in the school and by school staff.
All parents, carers, guardians and staff are automatically members of Cavendish PTA and are welcome to attend meetings.
Cavendish PTA is a registered charity and works solely to raise funds for Cavendish Community Primary School, West Didsbury, primarily by staging fundraising events, which are used to purchase additional resources which are not available within the standard school budget.
In the 2012-2013 academic year, Cavendish PTA raised in excess of £21,000 for the school. This is a phenomenal amount of money for a school PTA to raise; we’ve gained national and local media coverage on the BBC, The Times, Manchester Evening News, XFM, Mancunian Matters, PTA+, PTA Social and more – if you want to have your say in where this money is allocated to benefit YOUR children – GET INVOLVED!
Cavendish PTA operates a mailing list delivering information directly to your Inbox, and have an established social media presence on both Twitter and Facebook. You can also contact us via email – firstname.lastname@example.org or leave us an old fashioned message in the PTA tray via the school office.
Cavendish PTA also organises non-profit events with the purpose of bringing parents/guardians/carers into the school and involving them in the school guardians/community.
The Cavendish PTA committee, elected annually at the AGM, run the meetings and coordinate the events.
The elected committee for 2016-2017 is as follows:
If you’re a parent/guardian/carer of a child at Cavendish Community Primary School and feel that you have something to contribute to your PTA, no matter how big or small, please feel free to get in touch.
