On Wednesday the 20th of November it was World Children’s Day. To mark the occasion, children took over the whole school!

The Takeover Challenge puts children into real-life decision-making positions. A total of 95 children became staff for the day and had a range of ‘mini me’ roles, including headteacher, deputy head, teachers, teaching assistants, sports coaches, finance officers, administrators, site managers, cooks, lunchtime organisers and governors.

It was an amazing and uplifting event, with children and adults working together across the school. Thank you to all the staff, children and parents who were involved in making it such a positive experience.
